A career as a Senior Advisor in Internal Communications within the Commercial Banking and Private Banking 1859 team at National Bank means playing a key role in the effective, structured, and consistent dissemination of information to teams across the sector.
Through clear, targeted, and actionable communications, you help prepare and equip the sales force to support the adoption of strategic priorities and drive performance.
Your Role:
Internal Communications Management and Coordination
- Develop and manage the sector’s internal communications calendar in alignment with business priorities and line-of-business initiatives;
- Facilitate and manage the internal communications editorial committee (meeting preparation, content coordination, follow-ups) and represent the Commercial Banking sector on bank-wide communications committees;
- Advise internal teams on communication channels, formats, and timing to optimize reach, understanding, and effective use of information.
Information Distribution and Message Development
- Manage the sector’s main internal communication channels (e.g., newsletters, Viva Engage, SharePoint, emails), ensuring balanced and prioritized information distribution;
- Ensure the communication of sector projects, initiatives, and messages to internal Bank partners;
- Draft key messages and strategic or operational content to support the sales force in understanding offerings, priorities, and changes;
- Highlight sector initiatives, achievements, and best practices through informative and engaging content that fosters alignment, engagement, and knowledge sharing.
Support for Internal Events and Engagement
- Contribute to the organization of internal events, virtual or in person, to promote engagement, alignment, and information sharing within the sector;
- Help strengthen cohesion and a sense of belonging through structured communication initiatives.
Your Team:
You are part of the sector’s Strategy and Growth team and work closely with colleagues responsible for external communications to ensure message consistency across all channels and audiences.
Working in close collaboration with several internal partners (Strategy and Growth, Employee Experience, Marketing, etc.), the team stands out for its agility, creativity, and the quality of its initiatives.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Human Resources, Marketing, or a related field, with 7 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience;
- Excellent communication and writing skills;
- Strong team spirit, autonomy, and creativity;
- Bilingualism (an asset);
- In-depth knowledge of the financial industry and the Commercial Banking sector (an asset).
