As a Senior Advisor in the Capital Markets Business Strategy team at National Bank of Canada, you will play a pivotal role in the development, execution, and continuous enhancement of the campus recruitment strategy. Working closely with Early Careers leadership, educational institutions and business stakeholders across the organization, you will execute strategic initiatives that strengthen our talent pipeline, elevate the student experience, and support long term workforce planning initiatives. Your Job
- Build and maintain strong relationships with universities, student associations, faculty members, and Capital Markets business leaders to identify and attract top talent.
- Execute innovative campus recruitment strategies that support hiring across Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, Sales & Trading, Research, and other business areas.
- Measure program success and drive continuous improvement by analyzing participant feedback, conversion metrics, hiring outcomes, and business needs.
- Leverage data and market insights to optimize recruitment activities, evaluate event effectiveness, and enhance candidate engagement strategies.
- Develop compelling employer branding content, presentations, and marketing materials to showcase National Bank of Canada Capital Markets and elevate our presence on campus and social media platforms.
- Plan and participate in campus events, networking sessions, conferences, case competitions, and other talent attraction initiatives in partnership with business representatives and alumni.
- Deliver an exceptional intern experience by supporting interns throughout their journey, from onboarding to program completion, while gathering feedback to continuously improve the program.
- Monitor industry and competitive trends in campus recruitment, early talent development, and employer branding to ensure our programs remain best-in-class.
- Contribute to the evolution of our talent programs by developing new tools, streamlining processes, and enhancing the end-to-end recruitment experience for candidates, hiring managers, and interns.
- Support diversity-focused recruitment initiatives by helping build targeted talent pipelines through universities, student organizations, referrals, networking events, and other sourcing channels.
- Act as a coach to ensure the development of the more junior members of the team
Your Team
This position is based in Toronto, specifically within the Business Strategy team in Capital Markets. You will report to the Director - Campus Recruitment.

* This role is primarily office based (4 days per week).
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, administration or a related field with at least 7 years of relevant experience
- Experience supporting students, campus, early talent, or internship recruitment programs
- Knowledge of financial services, Capital Markets, investment banking, sales and trading, or corporate banking environments
- Experience planning and executing recruiting events, networking sessions, conferences, or employer branding initiatives
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment technologies
- Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation in recruitment
- Ability to work well under pressure and deal with tight timelines
- Strong interpersonal communication, and presentation skills, attention to detail, organizational skills and proactive
- Understanding regional trends in early careers hiring and future skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Possesses clear sense of urgency and ability to make decisions at a high pace and adapt quickly
