A career as a Master Product Owner (Product Lead) within the Wealth Management team at National Bank means acting as a strategic leader to drive the evolution of advisory and portfolio management capabilities within an Agile Release Train (ART). This role allows you to have a tangible impact on the digital experiences offered to advisors and head office teams, thanks to your expertise in product leadership, digital transformation, and wealth management.
Your job
Strategic Product Leadership
- Work closely with the train lead to define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for advice and portfolio management capabilities, aligned with business objectives
- Lead the prioritization of epics and features across multiple teams, ensuring alignment with the train's mission and value streams
- Ensure solutions deliver measurable value and exceptional user experiences
Agile Train Collaboration
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, architecture, and delivery teams across the ART.
- Facilitate PI planning readiness, feature decomposition, and backlog grooming in collaboration with Product Owners, RTEs, and Solution Architects.
- Ensure cross-team dependencies are identified, managed, and communicated effectively.
Portfolio & Advice Domain Expertise
- Guide the transversal evolution of tools related to portfolio management and advice (ex. Croesus, Advice Suite)
- Serve as the voice of the network, translating insights into actionable features and enhancements. Fostering network efficiency, client engagement and regulatory compliance.
- Support integration efforts and change management to ensure seamless onboarding of new capabilities
Leadership & Governance
- Mentor and coach Product Owners within the train, fostering a culture of ownership, agility, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to governance forums, OKR alignment, and agile maturity assessments across the portfolio.
- Represent the train in strategic planning and transformation initiatives.
- Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership and business sponsors.
Prerequisites
- Bachelor's degree and 7 to 10 years of relevant experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in a strategic role in product or project management.
- Proven experience in wealth management, portfolio management platforms, and financial planning tools.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex product portfolios.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
