Manager, Financing Solutions

As a Manager of Financing Solutions in National Bank's Real Estate Finance group, you will collaborate closely with Senior Analysts, Account Managers, and Portfolio Managers. Your primary responsibility is managing the financing provided to our clients, leveraging your strong analytical abilities and capacity to synthesize complex information. This position enables you to make a meaningful impact within the organization. Your role

• Prepare and send letters, as well as follow up on documentation for annual reviews and renewals.
• Conduct credit analyses, including the assessment of maturing loans, in accordance with the Bank’s established standards, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Solicit feedback from Account Managers on draft credit applications and revise them as needed to ensure compliance with the Bank’s requirements for profitability, presentation quality, and risk analysis.
• Work proactively with business development, support, and partner teams to identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities.
• Actively participate in internal projects aimed at continuous process improvement.

Your Team The Real Estate Finance group operates within the Commercial and Private Banking 1859 sector. Its mission is to support major real estate industry players, providing interim construction financing and long-term funding for high-quality assets. The team is driven, highly motivated, and committed to expanding the market throughout Canada. You will be joining a team of 16 professionals, reporting directly to the Associate Vice-President of Portfolio Management. Our team is distinguished by its dynamic approach, collaborative mindset, and strong sense of unity.
Prerequisites

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, accompanied by a minimum of three years of related professional experience.
• Real Estate Financing Expertise: Demonstrated background in real estate financing.
• Commercial Credit Knowledge: Proven experience in commercial credit analysis and assessment.
• Financial Statement Analysis: Proficient in evaluating and interpreting financial statements.
• Interpersonal & Professional Skills: Strong attention to detail, curiosity, organizational abilities, and proactive attitude; excels in building effective working relationships.
• Communication Abilities: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for conveying concepts and ideas clearly and concisely.
