Your job
- Design and program reliable, high-performance solutions for mainframe systems
- Participate in the testing phases throughout the development cycle
- Establish and apply validation and quality control procedures in accordance with established standards and standards
- Provide professional support to sectors and develop or modify computer programs based on user needs and business imperatives
- Work with users to understand issues and determine it needs

You are part of a large team of 19 colleagues in the IT - Retail financing - Backend sector and report to the Senior Manager. Prerequisites
- A bachelor’s degree and several years of experience, or a master’s degree and several years of experience
- proficiency in COBOL, IMS/DB, SQL, CICS, JCL, ISFP, Python (an asset)
- Be familiar with the MVS/ESA and Windows operating systems
- Use File-aid, Xpediter, Endever, Visual Studio Code, and sonarQube development tools
- Experience with GIT/GitHub, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, XRAY and agile methods
