A career as a Regional Business Development Associate in the National Bank Investments (NBI) team means acting as a business development specialist. You will play a key role in promoting and selling BNI's investment solutions. Your goal will be to prospect a defined territory to make BNI's investment solutions known and appreciated. This job allows you to have a positive impact on our organization through your prospecting and sales skills.
Your Role
- Identify and qualify investment advisors for the sale of NBI's investment solutions.
- Conduct various business development activities, actively participate in prospecting within your territory, and prepare, implement, and evaluate sales campaigns.
- Provide exceptional customer service to new and existing clients and maintain high-quality interactions.
- Participate in training sessions to stay informed about products and the market and be an effective resource person.
- Work as a team with other associates and sales directors to share ideas and increase overall sales success.

Basic requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field with 3 to 5 years of experience, or a completed Master's degree in a related field with two years of relevant experience.
- Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC) or Canadian Securities Course (CSC), or commitment to complete them within the first 6 months of employment
- Excellent prospecting skills, autonomy, knowledge of financial markets, sales experience, excellent listening and communication skills, ability to simplify complex concepts, and ability to build relationships with clients over the phone.
