Description
A career as a Financing Solutions Manager on the Health team of the National Accounts group at National Bank means working closely with managers, act as an expert resource and propose financial strategies to large and medium-sized private companies with complex financing needs.
Your job
- Support managers in setting up new financing files and at all stages of file follow-up and renewal.
- Act as an expert, using your knowledge and extensive professional experience to provide clients with the advice they need.
- Help your clients achieve their business objectives by proposing financial strategies based on the most appropriate combination of specialised financing products.
- Provide expertise in the areas of financing structure, financial analysis and all aspects of file assessment.
- Identify risks and make recommendations to the Credit Committee in accordance with the Bank's policies.
- Demonstrate a high level of collaboration and actively participate in achieving your business unit's objectives.
- Participate in preliminary meetings and present financing proposals to medium- and large-sized private companies with financing needs
- Help prepare files, including due diligence reviews, financial analyses and implementing appropriate financing structures.
- Participate in negotiations with internal and external stakeholders (credit committees, clients, legal and financial advisors, other financial institutions, syndication departments, etc.).
- Actively participate in all steps involved in monitoring and renewing existing credits.
- Assess the profitability of credit risks to ensure compliance with financing and risk management policies and standards.

Prerequisites
- A completed bachelor's degree in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience or a completed master's degree in a related field and 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in financial analysis (financial statements, projections, etc.)
- Experience in commercial credit and knowledge of the commercial Bank sector.
- Experience with complex financing structures (business acquisition, LBO, financing of seniors' residences, etc.)
- Ability to manipulate financial models in Excel.
