You help identify business issues and meet the needs of various stakeholders in order to support major initiatives.
National Bank's Fund Accounting sector is responsible for calculating unit prices for investment funds, calculating distributions and producing financial statements and tax returns.
Your job
- Analyze and handle variances in daily cash reconciliation
- Collect compile and verify the accuracy of the data required for the various stages of producing interim and annual financial statements
- Participate in the annual audit process for mutual funds and exchange-traded funds
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards that define our activities
- Identify and analyse partners' needs in order to meet their needs and facilitate their decision-making
- Maintain an excellent level of relationships with internal and external partners (clients, auditors, NBT) as part of joint activities
- Contribute to improving activities and processes
- Participate in, coordinate projects and ensure follow-up
Your team
In the Funds Accounting sector in the Financial statements team, you are part of a team of 14 colleagues who report to the Financial statements Manager. With experts in finance, accounting and taxation, we analyse and interpret data to make the best decisions for our clients and partners.

Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and three years of relevant experience or any other combination of education and experience deemed equivalent
- Accounting designation (CPA or CFA) in the process of being obtained
- Knowledge of mutual funds, exchange-traded funds and the production of financial statements
- Excellent communication skills good time and priority management
- Critical mindset focused on problem solving
