As a Practice Lead, you are the key expert responsible for implementing and adapting practices and governance to support the Bank’s strategies. This strategic role is intended to make sure that our wide variety of compensation policies and programs attract, motivate and retain talent, and are also fair, competitive and aligned with business objectives.

Your role
- Provide strategic alignments and recommendations, oversee program development and review, and as required, prepare business cases with stakeholders to prioritize as part of the HR business plan.
- Propose strategies that are consistent with business needs while incorporating performance indicators (KPIs).
- Analyze market data (using compensation surveys, for example) to ensure the competitiveness of programs. Identify trends and recommend innovations to improve program performance.
- Anticipate risks and ensure programs comply with regulations and ethical standards and maintain rigorous governance with regard to applying them.
- Carry out proactive impact analyses, cost modelling and prepare strategic reports for management by providing high-level expertise.
- Coordinate operations for various internal governance strategic committees to ensure they run smoothly.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the practice generates value and exceeds expectations.

Your team
Within the Human Experience and Performance sector, you will be part of the total compensation team of approximately 45 colleagues and will work closely with various seasoned experts. Our goal is to offer you maximum flexibility to promote your quality of life, particularly through a hybrid work mode and flexible work schedule.
There are 4 positions to be filled with the following areas of expertise:
- Practice Lead in Variable Compensation (short-term)
- Practice Lead in Compensation and Position Evaluation
- Practice Lead in Compensation, Performance Management and Compensation Communications
- Practice Lead in Executive Compensation
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and seven to ten years of relevant experience OR master’s degree in a related field and five years of relevant experience
- Recognized expertise in one of the specialties mentioned above.
- Ability to navigate complex, ambiguous and cross-sector environments.
- Positive leadership, strong sense of collaboration and ability to inspire others.
- Excellent communication and storytelling, writing and influencing skills.
- Diligence, attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Excellent ability to use innovation and creativity to view complex problems from another angle and solve them.
- Strong data analysis and financial modeling skills.
- Proficiency in Excel
