Your job
- Advise business units on their activities and strategies, particularly regarding securities regulation, corporate governance, partnerships, and information security.
- Manage complex files involving major strategic and reputational issues.
- Analyze, draft, and negotiate commercial, transactional, and financial contracts.
- Anticipate and align legal and regulatory requirements with business imperatives.
- Interact with external organizations and legal advisors to support special projects.
- Participate in international mandates, complementing work in the Canadian market.

Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in law and member in good standing of the Barreau du Québec.
- At least 10 years of experience in business law or securities law within financial institutions, regulatory bodies, or specialized law firms.
- In-depth knowledge of securities law, commercial law, corporate governance, and corporate finance.
- Proven expertise in negotiating transactions and managing complex files.
- Strategic vision, innovative mindset, and ability to influence and advise on critical decisions.
- Excellent skills in analysis, drafting, and legal risk management in dynamic and evolving environments.
