A career as a Chief Business Analyst in the Product Team at National Bank means acting as a strategic liaison between the business teams and the IT delivery teams. As a senior resource, you influence the squad and stakeholders, take charge of complex issues, act as a reference in business analysis, demonstrate autonomy, anticipate risks, propose solutions and support the team. Your job
- Strategically support and advise product owners, business line partners and IT teams in their decision-making and deliverables
- Define the scope of processes to be optimized and proactively take charge of the planning, coordination and monitoring of activities related to deliverables
- Assume a functional leadership role, taking on complex and high-profile mandates
- Lead workshops involving multiple stakeholders at various hierarchical levels and expertise
- Model current and target processes, based on the Bank's current mapping practices (BPMN, Lean approach)
- Perform comprehensive, high-level and detailed impact analyses, considering all operational, technological and organizational angles, in collaboration with experts
- Adopt best practices in business analysis to identify, draft and classify all requirements (business, stakeholders, solutions) as well as ensure their clarity and traceability via a dedicated matrix.
- Define and document user test scenarios, support validation phases and support users during the operational transfer
- Formulate structured recommendations for the change management strategy, taking into account human, organizational and operational impacts
- Exercise senior professional judgment in the analysis, prioritization and recommendations issued
- Contribute to the maturity of the team, the sharing of best practices and, if necessary, the support or coaching of less experienced analysts.

Prerequisites
- University degree related to the sector of activity and several years of relevant experience in business analysis
- Demonstrated expertise in business analysis in a technology ecosystem
- Significant experience in end-to-end business process transformation, change management and continuous improvement
- Solid knowledge in business process improvement and mapping (modeling, BPMN, Lean approach)
- Experience in defining test scenarios, user support and operational handover
- Ability to think strategically, excellent analytical, synthesis and communication skills
- Proven experience in stakeholder management and facilitation of complex workshops
- Mastery of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
- Banking or regulatory experience (asset).
