Being a Business Development Manager means creating strong business relationships with merchants in the car, leisure, boating, RV, and pool industries, etc.

Currently, we are seeking a remote Business Development Manager to join our New Brunswick team. You will be working from home, with occasional in-office meetings as required. Therefor, the role can be base anywhere close to one of our business centers, such as Moncton or Fredericton.

In collaboration with your colleagues, you will develop and implement action plans and business development strategies based on established business development strategies. You will work with Automotive, Leisure, RV and Marine dealerships from across the country to enhance our National Bank brand in market, help grow our loan portfolio and increase our market share.

Your job:

  • Identify emerging business opportunities in the market and make recommendations regarding those opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with dealers and various other internal parties across all related business lines.
  • Establish a preferred relationship with clients and ensure client satisfaction by providing personalized service.
  • Increase the visibility of the Bank's products and services by taking part in various external activities, industry shows, and related events where required.

Your team:

You will be working in the Consumer Financing Services sector with a team of 11 colleagues reporting to the Senior Manager. You will be able to develop skills and adapt based on unique experience in the Team.

The team is dynamic, high performing and provides Top Notch dealer experience.

Basic requirements

  • Completed Bachelor's degree in a related field and five years' relevant experience
  • Experience and demonstrated success in B2B business development
  • Experience in account management and customer service, an asset
  • Experience in the Indirect Financing industry or leasing, an asset
