This role offers opportunities for development. Acting as a strategic partner to Account Managers to build, grow and maintain profitable, long-lasting, and genuine relationships with CWB/NBC clients. The Banking Officer will provide knowledge, courteous & efficient delivery of our products & services (opening of accounts, sale of retirement and investment products, completion of personal lending account reviews, etc.) enhancing current client relationships by utilizing discovery questions to deliver a full-service solution.
Your role
- Listen to clients’ needs and resolve complex situations.
- Give advice and offer appropriate solutions for clients to meet their transactions, investment, personal financing, made-to-measure insurance and estate planning needs.
- Ensure client satisfaction and engagement.
- Refer your clients to your specialist colleagues for their specific needs.
- Ensure adherence to compliance and risk management rules.

We rely on our colleagues to share knowledge and help each other. Our branch is open from Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. This position reports to the Senior Manager Personal Banking.

You’ll also have access to colleagues with a wide range of expertise, experience and backgrounds to enrich all aspects of your development.
Prerequisites
- Hold a college diploma (DEC) or equivalent preferred
- Advisory service experience, inclusive attitude and openness to diversity preferred
- Hold a mutual fund representative (MFR) licence - If not, you must obtain this licence within three months of hiring witha full refund once you have successfully obtained it
- 3 years in a banking environment or have equivalent experience, have a strong understanding of banking products & services, and genuinely want to learn & grow your financial career preferred
