Guided by our 100% open architecture philosophy, the Chief Operation, Risk and Execution Office is responsible for overseeing the portfolio management excellence criteria imposed on managers selected by NBI, as well as managing and optimizing investment solutions to better meet the needs of our clients.
Your job
- Manage the application of investment policies for managed solutions and strategic portfolio positioning decisions
- Manage the impact of cash movements on managed solutions
- Communicate and plan investments with our partners
- Validate and reconcile transactions
- Maintain and improve various internal databases
- Support the team in selecting, eliminating, and replacing investment strategies in accordance with portfolio management excellence criteria.
- Participate in the preparation of analysis reports on the investment process of portfolio managers.
- Attend meetings with external portfolio managers and document them.
- Stay abreast of developments in the industry to ensure quality service.

Prerequisites
- Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field
- Two to five years of relevant experience
- Ability to work closely with multiple partners in the completion of a project
- Proven computer and database skills
- Excellent knowledge of Excel
- Report writing skills
- Curiosity to learn continuously, team spirit, shareholder mindset
- Ability to manage priorities, navigate ambiguity, and step outside your comfort zone
- Ability to challenge colleagues constructively and be accountable for your decisions
Assets
- CFA®, CIPM®, or other professional designation (or in the process of obtaining it)
- Experience in banking or an investment management firm
- Knowledge of a programming language (VBA, Python) and basic AI
- Experience in fund accounting
