A career as an Advisor in the Special Loans Unit means seeing files identified as "high-risk" for the Capital Markets and Commercial Banking (commercial Banking) sectors in general administration. Managing the administration of a high risk portfolio while maintaining compliance and oversight.    Your job  
  • Assist Senior Directors with various administrative tasks such as setting up new loans, loan renewals, monitoring overdrafts, monitoring account activities and providing debt statements, as needed. 
  • Ensure that files comply with the Bank's standards and standards. 
  • Oversee a portfolio of loans by following up on payments and security maturities and reporting any irregularities to the manager responsible. 
  • Establish and maintain frequent communications with various parties involved in files: Lawyers, clients, consultants, etc. 
  • Manage reserve and non-current loan records in non-current loan management systems. 
  Your team :   You are part of a team of 10 colleagues in the Special loan Unit sector and will report to the Senior Director - loan Administration. Our team stands out for the diversity of exceptional cases and situations, which keeps advisors motivated!    Prerequisites  
  • College diploma and 3 years of experience or bachelor’s degree in a related field and two years of relevant experience 
  • Experience in the administrative processing of commercial and/or corporate files 
  • Ability to manage several files simultaneously and within tight deadlines 
  • Knowledge of the Bank's various transaction systems (LIS, LoanIQ, CO, etc.) 
  • Knowledge of the various collateral on loans, an asset
