About the position :
You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of underground electrical systems.
Your main responsibilities :
- Install, maintain, and repair underground electrical equipment and systems;
- Diagnose electrical issues and perform the required repairs;
- Conduct preventive inspections to ensure equipment reliability;
- Install, connect, and commission motors, distribution panels, and other electrical components;
- Apply lockout/tagout procedures and health and safety standards;
- Read and interpret electrical plans, diagrams, and drawings;
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and recommend solutions to optimize equipment performance;
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to minimize production downtime;
- Perform other related tasks as required.
Your profile :
- Licence C certification (required);
- FMTM mining modules (required);
- Experience in industrial electrical work (an asset);
- Underground mining experience (an asset);
- Strong safety mindset, autonomy, and team spirit.
