About the position
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting operations and ensuring effective coordination of work in the field.
More specifically, your responsibilities will include :
- Supervising and leading maintenance teams for fixed equipment and surface infrastructure;
- Planning, coordinating, and prioritizing maintenance work to support production operations;
- Ensuring preventive and corrective maintenance of fixed equipment (generators, pumps, overhead cranes, HVAC systems, boilers, etc.);
- Enforcing company health, safety, and environmental standards;
- Participating in maintenance budget management and resource optimization;
- Ensuring follow‑up, documentation, and reporting of maintenance activities;
- Collaborating with operations, engineering, and supply teams;
- Diagnosing technical issues and implementing effective solutions;
- Promoting continuous improvement and equipment reliability;
- Managing operational challenges related to a remote mining site.
Desired profile
- Relevant experience in the field
- Experience in a supervisory role
- Experience in a northern environment (an asset)
- Ability to communicate in English (an asset)
