About the Position
In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out tasks related to mining operations, in collaboration with the on-site team.
More specifically, you will :
- Operate and maneuver various heavy equipment according to site needs;
- Perform loading, transporting, and unloading of materials (soil, gravel, ore, etc.);
- Participate in grading, maintenance, and road construction work;
- Conduct daily equipment inspections before, during, and after use;
- Perform basic maintenance and report any mechanical issues;
- Follow work procedures and strict health and safety standards;
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations.
Desired Profile
- Class 1 driver’s license (mandatory)
- Relevant experience in the field
- Experience in northern environments (an asset)
