Job Description
Reporting to senior management, the Parts Manager is responsible for the overall management of the parts department to ensure efficient and profitable operations, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and excellent collaboration with the service and sales departments.
Key Responsibilities
Manage parts inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stock control.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize the department’s profitability.
Supervise, train, and motivate the counter and warehouse team.
Ensure rigorous tracking of sales and performance goals.
Maintain excellent relationships with internal (service/sales) and external (private customers, independent repair shops) clients.
Negotiate with suppliers and ensure compliance with GM policies.
Prepare and analyze departmental management reports.
Desired Profile
Relevant experience in an automotive parts management position (ideally at a dealership).
Strong team management and customer service skills.
Good knowledge of parts management systems and IT tools.
Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Positive, results-oriented leadership.
Knowledge of the SERTI system (an asset)
