Summary of Responsibilities

The Podcast Strategy Manager is responsible for supporting the development, production, and growth of the agency’s podcast offerings. This role focuses on developing strategic podcast content, ensuring high-quality execution, and helping position podcast initiatives to drive audience engagement and business value.

The Podcast Strategy Manager contributes to shaping and scaling the agency’s podcast capabilities by supporting content strategy, developing processes and workflows, and contributing to opportunities that expand the podcast vertical.

Core Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Develop and execute podcast strategies across client and internal productions
  • Support podcast content direction to ensure strong storytelling, clear positioning, and audience engagement
  • Guide podcast projects from concept to execution, ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment with client or brand objectives
  • Collaborate with internal teams (creative, marketing, production) to support effective planning and delivery of podcast content
  • Stay up to date on podcast trends, formats, and distribution strategies, incorporating best practices into recommendations
  • Leverage performance data and listener insights to refine content strategies and improve reach and engagement
  • Integrate AI tools and workflows into podcast production and planning to improve efficiency and output
  • Contribute to business development efforts related to podcast services, including identifying opportunities, supporting pitches, and contributing to proposal development
  • Support client-facing conversations by helping present podcast strategies, concepts, and growth opportunities
  • Develop and implement SOPs, workflows, and processes to support scalable podcast production and delivery
  • Establish frameworks for content planning, recording, editing, publishing, and promotion
  • Continuously optimize systems and processes to improve efficiency, quality, and team collaboration
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and support the translation of ideas into actionable execution plans
  • Provide feedback on podcast deliverables to maintain strong creative and production standards
  • Ensure teams are well prepared when presenting podcast concepts or content to clients
  • Contribute to updates provided to leadership outlining podcast performance, progress, and growth opportunities
  • Support the development and growth of the podcast offering by contributing ideas, insights, and improvements to structure and delivery
  • Perform other related duties as reasonably assigned by the company
