Warehouse worker

Location: Moncton

Schedule: Evening Shifts 2 pm till midnight two to four shifts per week. Tuesday and Thursday are the main days with availability for other days between Monday and Thursday.

Job description:

Under the authority of the production supervisor, the laborer is responsible for preparing orders and receiving goods.

Main Tasks:

• Handling goods using an overhead crane or forklift
• Unloading the trucks
• material check
• material identification
• Place the material in the correct locations, respecting the capacity of the storage spaces.
• Preparing orders according to the instructions on the work slips;
• Perform a thorough inspection of the orders (correct labeling, good materials, quality).
• Follow the special instructions on the work slip;
• Pack the materials to be shipped according to customer requirements or procedures;
• Keep the premises clean at all times
• All other related tasks

School and vocational training:

• High school diploma (preferred)
• Forklift operator training (desirable)
• Overhead crane operator training (desirable)
• Knowledge of metals (Desirable)

Working conditions:

• Permanent part-time position, 20 hours (2 days) min per week with the potential of becoming full time.
• Work on the evening shift
• Night shift premiums ($1.00/hour) in addition to base salary
• The base salary is 23.81$/hour and after a 960-hour probationary period salary increase (to be determined)
