The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design, development and implementation of automated solutions tailored to customer needs. It also provides technical support throughout the project lifecycle, from initial engineering to on-site commissioning.
Main responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate and monitor the progress of automation projects.
- Select automation equipment and components according to the needs of the project.
- Ensure cost, time and quality management.
- Participate in coordination meetings with clients and internal teams.
- Produce technical drawings using Autocad.
- Program programmable logic controllers (PLCs) (e.g. Schneider, Allen-Bradley).
- Develop operator interfaces (HMI/SCADA) and supervision systems (e.g. Ignition, Wonderware).
- Configure and integrate industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, etc.).
- Ensure on-site commissioning, including functional tests and adjustments.
- Offer after-sales service and follow up on completed projects.
- Provide technical support to customers (remote or on-site).
