The industrial draftman is responsible for the design and drafting of mechanical and electrical systems intended for mining environments. They work closely with engineers, project managers, and production teams to ensure that the drawings comply with technical requirements and quality standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Produce 2D (AutoCAD) and 3D (Inventor) plans for our standard or custom products.
- Design and produce electrical plans and transform them into technical specifications.
- Consult with engineers and technicians during the manufacturing phase.
- Assist the engineering department with modifications or additions to installations and update the drawings.

Requested skills

Desired Profile

- Professional diploma (DEP) in industrial design or any other equivalent experience.
- *Language: Proficiency in French and English, spoken and written.
- Computer skills:
                 AutoCAD;
                 AutoCAD Electrical (asset);
                 Inventor;
                 Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency in both metric and imperial measurement systems.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to visualize dimensions.
- Ease of working in a team and with multiple stakeholders at various levels.
- Attention to detail in plans and drawings to avoid potential errors.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple files simultaneously.

*Bilingualism is required for this position, as the majority of stakeholders use English. This skill is essential, as approximately 20% of the responsibilities will be in English and 80% in French.

Additional tasks and responsibilities may be required.
