The Business Controller plays a leading role infinancial management and management control for Meglab Electronics Inc. He/she supports General management and ensures the implementation, application, andmonitoring of the company's accounting policies, controls, and procedures. He/she is responsible for operational reporting, compliance with government requirements,and acts as the main point of contact between operations and the Epiroc customer service center in Canada.

Specific responsibilities

- Ensure the submission of financial and management reports (such as NPP, monthly forecasts, monthly report) in accordance with the Group's practices and procedures.
- Responsible for maintaining Internal controls in accordance with the Epiroc way.
- Assist with strategic planning, including SCORECARD reporting. Work with the company's management to develop strategies and processes to achieve objectives and targets.
- Ensure that accounting processes are organized, documented and adhered to for all accounting processes within the organization.
- Liaise directly with management on financial matters and processes. Establish appropriate cost centers, cost tracking, and performance reporting for the management team.
- Establish and monitor all administrative projects and objectives to ensure improvement in all phases of finance.
- Prepare the necessary information for business review and CRM meetings.
- Communicate appropriate reports and scorecards to BLMs and GMs.
- Report "red flags" to management whenever compliance with sound business principles is threatened.
- Participate in business activities and actively contribute to the development of the company in line with the strategy and objectives.

Requested skills

Experience and education

- University diploma (BAC) in business administration with a specialization in accounting or accounting.
- Have 5 to 7 years of experience in accounting or any other relevant equivalent experience.
- Strong background in finance/accounting.
- Previous experience in management control is an asset.
- Experience working in an international environment and with group reporting.
- Experience in people management (and people management).
- Experience with ERP systems and ERP deployments would be an asset.

Knowledge and skills

- *Language: excellent command of French and English, spoken and written.
- Maintain a high level of accounting knowledge (FAM, IFRS and GAAP) with the ability to develop a solid understanding of our products, the market, the sales process and how these processes operate within the structural regulatory framework established.
- Be able to adapt to different situations and be flexible in your work.
- Protect the company's assets in general and not reveal any information to competitors or outside parties that could harm our business.
- Use the budgeted resources at your disposal in the most cost-effective way to promote the company's business.
- Encourage practices within the company that are consistent with its values and beliefs. Share knowledge with colleagues and actively work to increase the skill level of the group. 

*Bilingualism is required for this position, as the majority of stakeholders use English. This skill is essential, as approximately 40% of responsibilities will be in English and 60% in French.
