Administrative Assistant 

 

Maple Reinders Constructors is currently searching for an experienced Administrative Assistant to assist our construction estimating team in our Kelowna, British Columbia office. The successful candidate will provide support to the National Director of Estimating, Chief Estimator, as well as other staff in the estimating team.

 

The Administrative Assistant assumes a wide range of responsibilities including, but not limited to:

 

  • General administrative assistance with scheduling meetings, meeting minutes, communication and distribution of information and general administrative support  
  • Working within existing databases to
  • Working with MS excel spreadsheets, Word documents and PDF documents
  • Downloading information from bidding platforms and preliminary set-up of estimate folders and files
  • Assistance with contacting vendors, as needed, and updating vendor data
  • Contacting clients confirming expected tendering dates
  • Assist Chief Estimators as needed

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum 5 years office experience.
  • Construction related experience is an asset.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Windows-based computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Ability to use/learn industry specific software programs such as Bluebeam and working within databases.
  • Valid driver's license.

Salary Range: $65,000/Year - $75,000/Year (Depending on Experience)
