Job Description

Our Canadian Enterprise Architecture team is looking to expand our practice!

We are looking for flexible, resilient, energetic IT professionals with an engineering mentality, who understands how to deliver what the customer wants and needs, through great collaboration with our business and IT partners.

How will you contribute?

Partner with dedicated IT professionals to craft and implement cross-platform solutions to support our customers as they engage with the business processes.

  • Strong background in Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technologies, including understanding various OCR techniques, tools, and frameworks.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure Vision AI services, including Computer Vision, OCR, and other related services within the Azure ecosystem.
  • Proficiency in machine learning and deep learning concepts, especially as they relate to image processing and recognition tasks.
  • Experience in designing and architecting AI solutions, understanding system scalability, reliability, and performance considerations.
  • Have a stake in the broader technical ecosystem and the solutions that you own by acting as a member of the teams you work with, using standards and patterns as an accelerator.
  • Be data driven in both decision making and in governance practices.
  • Hold on demand reviews in public for greater transparency, ensuring that governance is collaborative and not punitive.
  • Learn how to measure critical metrics, understand their value, and then use the results to continuously improve both the ecosystem and your solutions.
  • Develop useful architecture models that can be used by both system architects and engineers, and demoing these models.
  • Partner with product collaborators by influencing priorities while being responsible for the technical solutions.
  • Be proactive, working with collaborators to create architecture concepts prior to initiating an effort, demoing changes to these concepts.
  • Develop and maintain future models to align business and technology strategy, and any product purchases or vendor assessments.
  • Keep models updated frequently and available for others to access.

Attributes:

  • 7+ years proven experience as a Solution Architect
  • Demonstrated ability engineering large scale and sophisticated systems from design to production which involve AI.
  • You obsess about customers, listen, engage and act for their benefit.
  • Ability to translate sophisticated business problems and important metrics into a solution architecture which can be demoed and implemented by multiple agile teams.
  • Have an eye for the future - we need leaders with vision who flourish with learning about what's on the horizon and seeing how it can be applied to the customer challenges we need to address.
  • You know and care about writing safe, sound, and secure code and have fixed issues yourself.
  • Experience with and curiosity about going deep on topics such as continuous delivery, reliability, security, cloud, and data science.

Salary & Benefits

The annual base salary for this role is listed below.

Primary Location

CAN, Ontario, Toronto, 200 Bloor Street East

Salary range is expected to be between

$92,190.00 CAD - $171,210.00 CAD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
