The People & Communications (PeopleComms), Strategy & Operational Excellence team is seeking an individual who is detail-oriented, proactive and passionate about delivering value through operational support and continuous improvement. This strategic role serves as a facilitator between PeopleComms, Procurement and Accounts Payable (AP), ensuring seamless vendor management and a strong focus on customer satisfaction. You will help equip the PeopleComms vendor management team with the tools and processes needed to deliver customer-centric support while upholding Manulife’s core values.
Position Responsibilities:
Support contract and invoice intake requests through the PeopleComms Vendor Management form, ensuring completeness and accuracy of documentation
Act as the primary point of contact for vendor-related inquiries from PeopleComms Centers of Excellence (COEs), including contract status, process guidance and invoice support
Maintain and update internal databases to ensure accurate and complete information
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track the activity and trends of vendor management requests on a quarterly basis
Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support strategic planning and operational improvements
Train and coach internal stakeholders on procurement and invoicing processes
Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and documentation standards
Prepare reports for internal stakeholders as needed
Support the development and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Contribute to other strategic assignments as required
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
1-3 years experience in a business operations, procurement support, finance or administrative role
Meticulous attention to detail and strong customer service orientation
Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools
Strong problem-solving skills and effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to guide stakeholders through complex processes with clarity and confidence
Highly organized, proactive and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously

Salary range is expected to be between
$53,775.00 CAD - $89,625.00 CADIf you are applying for this role outside of the primary location, please contact recruitment@manulife.com for the salary range for your location. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
