Description
Treasury Systems and Transformation (TST) team is responsible for providing project delivery and business systems analysis support to developing, maintaining, and enhancing Global Treasury Cash Application infrastructure. The team works in an environment that brings together resources specializing in several disciplines including Treasury Operations, IT, project management and business and financial analysis skills. Key responsibilities of the area are project delivery for global book of work initiatives, process automations and controls, implementing changes and upgrades to the ERP and maintaining a controlled, reliable, accessible, and stable Treasury application infrastructure.
Position Responsibilities:
Provide leadership in Business Analysis function by working with the Global Treasury cash operations to define and refine requirements /specifications, data transformation, process re-engineering, automation, configurations, support functional and integration testing, implementation and production support.
Closely work with the IS teams to explain and clarify the technical specifications and rationale in order to help create solutions that would meet business needs.
Proactively identify, plan and execute automation opportunities leveraging Gen AI, Agentic AI and other low code tools
Act as SME and Consultant to Treasury Operations and BU teams to identify opportunities to address business issues and alignment with Treasury strategies
Communicate effectively to all levels of the management to report project status and critical issues requiring their attention
Create and maintain thorough and accurate project documentation (including functional and technical design specifications) according to the project management methodologies
Lead testing by preparing required test plans/matrices and executing functional and system integration testing of the application
Project manage small to medium initiatives (as required) according to the established project management methodologies
Foster tech savvy culture that strives for continuous improvement
Support development of strong team by providing coaching and guidance to team members
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in leadership role supporting business systems analysis function involving process re-engineering, transformation, and automation
Hands-on experience in working with IT teams for developing system solutions
Capability to independently learn new systems / technology
Exceptional analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
Able to translate issues and problems into effective business solutions
Experience with citizen developer tools like Power Apps, Power BI, or Alteryx
Exposure to and/or working knowledge of Gen AI and Agentic AI based solutions
Ability to lead in a dynamic, fast-changing environment
Aptitude to work under tight deadlines, handle multiple tasks and manage ambiguity
Strong organizational skills (ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks with competing priorities)
Flexible and adaptable when dealing with change
Comfortable analyzing and organizing large volumes of data

Salary range is expected to be between
$92,900.00 CAD - $142,900.00 CADIf you are applying for this role outside of the primary location, please contact recruitment@manulife.com for the salary range for your location. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
