Position Responsibilities

Design Outcome Driven Learning Solutions

  • Translate leadership, business, and workforce priorities into learning solutions that are clearly anchored to intended outcomes.

  • Design development experiences that enable capability growth, behavior change, and practical application in the business.

  • Balance near-term delivery needs with longer term value and sustainability.

Lead Programs with Discipline, Judgment, and Global Awareness

  • Lead leadership development initiatives from concept and design through delivery and long-term sustainment, balancing strong structure with the ability to adapt as needs evolve. Apply sound judgment to manage priorities, risks, and tradeoffs in a complex, global environment.

  • Ensure programs are designed and delivered with global relevance, while respecting regional needs and market contexts.

Partner Effectively Across the Organization and Markets

  • Collaborate with People & Communication colleagues, business partners, and external vendors across geographies to deliver aligned, high-quality solutions.

  • Build alignment through clear communication, thoughtful listening, and proactive engagement with diverse stakeholders.

  • Contribute to shared ownership of outcomes.

Create Inclusive, High Quality Learning Experiences

  • Design and oversee leadership development experiences that are inclusive, accessible, and engaging for diverse learners.

  • Adapt delivery methods based on audience, cultural context, and desired outcomes across global markets.

Use Insight and Evidence to Improve Impact

  • Review data, feedback, and evaluation results to assess effectiveness and inform continuous improvement.

  • Apply evidence and insight to guide decisions, strengthen recommendations, and evolve learning solutions over time.

  • Contribute to a shift from participation-based measures toward clearer signals of impact.

Support Change Through Learning

  • Apply change awareness and learning principles to help leaders adopt new skills, mindsets, and ways of working.

  • Demonstrate curiosity and openness to experimentation as learning practices, tools, and expectations continue to evolve.

  • Contribute to the team’s gradual shift toward more modern, outcome-oriented, and future-ready learning approaches.

What High Performance Looks Like

A high performing Manager in this role:

  • Is sought out as a thinking partner, not only a program owner

  • Helps shift conversations from courses delivered to capabilities built

  • Uses AI and data thoughtfully to improve learning relevance and reach

  • Balances strategic intent with operational excellence

  • Enables others to succeed through clarity, insight, and influence

Required Qualifications

The Manager, Global Development is expected to operate as a strategic leader who drives capability development aligned to business priorities, while ensuring strong execution at scale. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to:

  • Act as a strategic thinking partner to leaders and stakeholders, providing insight, problem solving, and perspective beyond day-to-day program ownership.

  • Shift focus from learning activity to capability outcomes, consistently reframing discussions to measurable skills and capabilities built.

  • Leverage AI, data, and insights to design and continuously improve learning solutions that are relevant, scalable, and impactful for a global audience.

  • Balance strategy with execution, translating enterprise learning strategy into high-quality, operationally sound programs and experiences.
