High Net Worth Product Consultant

Reporting to the Director, HNW Product Support, the Product Consultant’s primary responsibilities will include providing direct support and consultation to Advisors, Manulife wholesalers, and internal partners in addition to supporting large cases and ensuring that they are handled effectively and efficiently. This will involve delivering case-specific optimized product and customized concept solutions, as well as providing detailed explanations of the solutions provided, their values, and benefits. Your support will enable advisors to effectively present and close larger, more complex cases.

Position Responsibilities:

HNW Support Case Support

  • Support and manage large cases by helping advisors with custom product solutions under complex pricing requests

  • Create product solutions under specific criteria

  • Liaise with internal teams

  • Assist with complex settling of large case policies

  • Support HNW cases with custom product and concept solutions for Manulife Advisors, Wholesalers, and internal partners

Required Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience working in individual life insurance in a sales or new business support capacity

  • University degree

  • Demonstrated ability to work with numbers

  • Strong understanding of all individual life insurance products, product illustration software, life insurance sales concepts and the concept illustration software

  • Solid understanding of individual policyholder taxation and the principles of personal and corporate taxation

  • Exposure to the sales environment either in wholesaling, direct sales, or a supporting function (marketing role)

Salary range is expected to be between

$70,500.00 CAD - $117,500.00 CAD
