Director, Digital Product Management

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director, Digital Product Management to join our digital team. This is a people leader role that reports to the AVP, Digital Product Management. This role supports the digital client experience for Manulife Wealth, which includes a client mobile app and web portal. You will drive product strategy and lead your team to solve interesting problems with a focus on value, viability, usability, and feasibility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web and mobile product management, demonstrated experience leading high-performing teams, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization. Experience in wealth management is preferred.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Own a digital portfolio of products that support the client experience, with a focus on driving strong business outcomes and high-quality experiences
  • Own the digital product vision, strategy, and roadmap along with the strategic direction for the team
  • Lead and develop a high-performing direct report, providing mentorship, coaching, and career development
  • Contribute to enterprise-level initiatives and digital transformation engagements
  • Monitor and integrate client and stakeholder feedback through formal and informal feedback channels
  • Own reporting and communications for the team, and ensure the right stakeholders are engaged across the product lifecycle

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in product management with at least 3 years in a leadership role and a consistent track record of successful web and mobile product delivery
  • Proven experience leading and developing high-performing product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to define and drive long-term product vision and strategy, aligning digital initiatives with enterprise goals
  • Skilled in prioritizing high-impact initiatives that balance customer value, business outcomes, and technical feasibility
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to use sound judgment to assess risks and create data-informed proposals
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Passion for creating digital experiences that delight customers
  • Experience in wealth management is preferred

Salary range is expected to be between

$105,750.00 CAD - $190,350.00 CAD
