Are you a strategic leader with a passion for cybersecurity engineering, automation, and innovation? We are seeking a Cyber TechOps Manager to lead a high-performing team that designs, develops, and delivers scalable solutions to support global Cyber Operations! This team plays a critical role in enabling operational excellence by integrating tools, automating workflows, and driving engineering innovation across a diverse set of cybersecurity platforms!

As the Cyber TechOps Manager, you will oversee a team dedicated to engineering and automating capabilities that improve the efficiency of cybersecurity platforms and services. Your team empowers platform owners and operational teams by delivering integrated, automated solutions that reduce manual effort, improve response times, and enable innovation. While not directly owning each platform, your team supports technologies such as Akamai (WAF/CDN), network sensors, endpoint protection, SIEM, and DLP-ensuring they are seamlessly integrated and optimized for operational use.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of cyber engineers focused on automation, integration, and service enablement across Cyber Operations.
  • Design and implement scalable, secure automation solutions that streamline operational workflows and reduce manual intervention.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between cybersecurity platforms and enterprise systems to enhance visibility, response, and coordination.
  • Collaborate with platform owners and operational teams to identify automation opportunities and deliver engineering solutions that meet their needs.
  • Encourage the use of infrastructure-as-code, automation pipelines, and DevSecOps methodologies throughout cybersecurity engineering initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain engineering standards, including code quality, documentation, testing, and version control.
  • Stay updated on the newest technologies, frameworks, and industry trends to continuously evolve the cyber engineering strategy.
  • Provide technical mentorship, mentor, and professional growth opportunities for a group of engineers and analysts.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent military/OTJ experience).
  • 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity or infrastructure engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Strong experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) in enterprise environments.
  • Practical knowledge of cybersecurity tools like Akamai, SIEM systems (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel), EDR software (e.g., CrowdStrike, Defender), and DLP products.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience working in hybrid and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity operations, including threat detection, response, and platform integration.
  • Excellent communication and collaborator engagement skills, with the ability to translate technical solutions into business value.
  • Proven skill in managing multiple priorities, guiding multi-functional initiatives, and achieving outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Salary range is expected to be between

$94,220.00 CAD - $174,980.00 CAD
