Description
The MarTech Implementation Consultant is responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of all digital analytics tools and Adobe Marketing technology integration for our Manulife US segment. You will collaborate with digital channel owners to ensure proper tagging of their marketing technology and tracking of specific elements/dimensions and partner with IT on the continuous development process of enhancements made on our web and app properties. The MarTech Implementation Consultant will drive efficiencies across the organization and set best practices for all business units. They are at the forefront of digital analytics implementation technology advancements and explore areas of opportunities.
A successful candidate will have experience in multiple subject areas; particularly around analytics technology and digital analytics tagging strategy, and a strong understanding of digital measurement. The implementation consultant will work collaboratively with various stakeholders from digital marketing, optimization, IT, and external providers to deliver best-in-class tagging solution guidance, data integration, and digital analytics governance. S/he will devise the standardized tagging methodology that will drive the IT-led architectural decisions required to support the platform and will oversee its implementation to ensure that the most relevant variables may be easily extracted using digital analytics and marketing technology systems.
Position Responsibilities:
Support the implementation, configuration, and continuous maintenance of digital analytics tools and Adobe Marketing technologies across Manulife businesses.
Collaborate with digital channel owners to ensure proper tagging of marketing technologies and tracking of key user interactions across web and mobile app properties.
Partner with IT teams throughout development cycles to define analytics requirements, validate deployments, and support continuous enhancements aligned with measurement and MarTech needs.
Establish and maintain standardized tagging methodologies, data layer specifications, and enterprise analytics best practices.
Drive operational efficiency by streamlining analytics implementation processes across multiple business units.
Stay at the forefront of digital analytics implementation trends, proactively exploring opportunities to enhance data collection, personalization, and activation capabilities.
Work cross‑functionally with Digital Marketing, CDP Activation, SEO, Demand Generation, Optimization, and Measurement & Insights to ensure cohesive data strategies.
Provide expert guidance on tagging solutions, data integration models, and digital analytics governance frameworks.
Ensure tagging architecture informs IT‑led platform decisions and supports seamless data extraction within Adobe Analytics, AEP, and related platforms.
Validate, troubleshoot, and optimize tagging and analytics implementations to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
Support OneTrust compliance requirements, including cookie consent integrations, privacy‑based conditional firing logic, and ensuring analytics and MarTech solutions comply with global data privacy standards.
Contribute to AI optimization, helping ensure digital experiences (e.g., AI‑agent tools, audits) are properly instrumented for analytics, training data capture, and performance insights.
Develop and maintain documentation including tagging requirements, analytics implementation guides, and data governance standards.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or IT-related field
5+ years of experience in Tagging, Analytics, AEM implementation, Tag management or related practices
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for custom tagging, debugging, and analytics logic.
Hands‑on experience with Adobe Launch (Tag Management System) and deep knowledge of implementing comprehensive tagging architectures.
Expertise in data layer design, standardized tagging methodologies, and guiding IT teams on architectural decisions that support scalable analytics.
Practical experience with Adobe Target, including A/B testing workflows and personalization tagging.
Experience working with Adobe Web SDK and Adobe Mobile SDK for analytics and personalization tracking.
Solid understanding of Customer Data Platforms (CDP), especially Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and its data collection practices.
Ability to build, maintain, and optimize Adobe Analytics reports and dashboards to support business reporting needs.
Strong capability to troubleshoot, validate, and optimize tagging and analytics implementations to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Experience in production environments involving analytics technology, digital measurement, and tagging strategies.
Proven ability to collaborate with digital marketing, optimization, IT teams, and external partners to deliver tagging guidance and uphold analytics governance.
Experience contributing to continuous web property development initiatives with IT and ensuring alignment with analytics requirements.
Strong interpersonal skills, communication abilities, critical thinking, and time‑management capabilities.

Salary range is expected to be between
$73,725.00 CAD - $122,875.00 CADEmployees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
