Description
We’re looking for a Junior Full Stack AEM Engineer with a strong interest in front‑end development and a passion for learning. In this role, you’ll help build modern, accessible, and performant experiences in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).No AEM experience is required - we’ll teach you. What we value most is a positive attitude, strong problem‑solving skills, and a desire to grow as part of a collaborative team. You’ll support AEM 6.5 on‑prem, assist with our AEM Cloud migration, and learn how to build components, improve authoring experiences, and work with our Design System.
Position Responsibilities:
- Learn to build AEM components using React, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, HTL, and basic Java.
- Support the creation of accessible UI following WCAG standard methodologies.
- Collaborate with UX, content authors, and engineers to deliver consistent experiences.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to team discussions and code reviews.
- Assist in fixing front‑end or authoring issues and help improve performance and stability.
- Grow your skills across AEM, cloud tooling, accessibility, and full‑stack concepts.
Required Qualifications:
- 1+ yrs Development experience. AEM would be an asset.
- Foundational knowledge of JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS/Sass, and basic Java.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to investigate solutions thoughtfully before seeking guidance.
- A willingness to learn, ask questions, and embrace new challenges.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative, team‑focused approach.
- Interest in accessibility, design systems, cloud services, and modern tooling.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience gained through hands-on projects or practical work.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub and basic software engineering practices.
- Exposure to agile workflows from school, internships, or personal projects.

Salary range is expected to be between
$69,525.00 CAD - $115,875.00 CADIf you are applying for this role outside of the primary location, please contact recruitment@manulife.com for the salary range for your location. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
