What we offer:Job Responsibilities:
- Salary: $21.00-$23.00/Hour
- Assist engineers in developing and defining concepts and manufacturing processes for all new product introductions and product enhancement programs using advanced engineering techniques.
- Assist in evaluating and implementing innovative, cost effective, safe, manufacturing processes and techniques which will improve the effectiveness of the manufacturing operations and business systems.
- Ensure all product validation testing requirements are completed per the DVP&R
- Assist in developing manufacturing planning, initial tooling requirements and costs, capability requirements, control plans, and assessments, which facilitate the definition and specification of the manufacturing processes.
- Serve as a resource for cause, effect analysis, investigations, statistical studies and corrective action planning.
- Assist in developing and implementing manufacturing flows, work station layouts and organization, which optimize value added operations, operating costs and product/process quality.
- Comply with defined Business Management and Environmental Management Systems requirements.
- Provide support for the continuous improvement initiatives within Techform.
- Provide support in the attainment of Techform' s operating system goals as outlined by the key graphs.
- Carry out all duties focusing on the goal of internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor or designate.
Qualifications and Skills
- Enrolled in post-secondary degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required
- Manufacturing experience is an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail is key;
- Ability to use Outlook, Word, Excel, 3D viewers, and PowerPoint is an asset.
