Senior Specialist, Service-Now (Asset Management Office), Brampton, ON

In this role, you will help lead and drive a number of key strategic initiatives focused on process efficiencies, data management, building standards and procedural reforms.. This is a great role for a highly energetic individual, who is looking for a challenge, passionate for analyzing complex problems with the ability to convert abstract or undefined tasks and problems into concrete solutions.

What You’ll Do:
  • Liaise with key stakeholders across the organization to identify and document process opportunities and create action plans to deliver effective outcomes.
  • Use data mining and machine learning techniques to extract valuable insights from large datasets and implement predictive analytics to improve existing processes.
  • Apply coding skills in Python, MySQL, C#, Java, and SQL for data management initiatives to enhance data quality, accuracy, and coverage.
  • Design and implement interactive dashboards using tools like ServiceNow and PowerBI.
  • Lead projects, manage schedules, gather status updates, and follow-up on project deliverables.
  • Understand and interpret complex information, identify patterns and trends, and provide recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting solutions, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Support with creating training material and job aids and deliver training to Loblaw Technology and Business partners.

What you Bring:
  • Demonstrable experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
  • Highly effective communication with strong presentation skills. Ability to work independently and in a team dynamic both in office and remotely.
  • Experience with development tools such as Python, MySQL, C#, Java, and SQL
  • Exceptional computer skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerBi and Visio).
  • Ability to learn new concepts, technologies, and methodologies in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
  • Creative problem-solver with a strong work ethic and attention to detail and accuracy. Effective time management skills.
  • Experience with ServiceNow and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) module is a must.
  • Understanding of Cloud environments is key to the success of the role.
  • Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and Flexera is an asset.
