Job Description:

The Sr. Analyst of Quantification & Allocations works in partnership with Category Management, Supply Chain and Merchandising teams to achieve optimal store inventory levels while maximizing profitable sales and bottom line results. They will apply analytical skills to evolve tools and processes while supporting a broad portfolio of products with varying strategies while adapting to changing business needs and proactively responding to opportunities. Accountabilities:
  • Determine optimal store allocation and replenishment based on the Category strategy, merchandising plan, store size and sales performance
  • Ensure allocations and replenishment is completed by the required landmark for both vendor and DC processing to ensure product arrives on time
  • Assist in developing tools, processes and growing automation that support accurate store level allocations and timely product delivery
  • Communicate and work with Category Management teams to support promo plans with sufficient inventory to maximize sales and productivity
  • Running sales reporting weekly to measure and understand effective program productivity
  • Generate and analyze weekly sales and promo compliance reports to provide overall business with visibility
  • Using data and insights, collaborate with business teams to find opportunities and discuss allocations strategies
  • Act as the integration point between the Category Management, Supply Chain, Promotions and Retail Operations teams
  • Coordinate with Category Management and Supply Chain teams on problem solving for inventory flow
  • Complete ad-hoc analyses or reports as required in a timely manner as it relates to allocations, sell-through, and inventory
  • Proven ability to handle priorities, maintain focus while working on multiple projects
Job Qualifications:
  • University degree in Commerce, Economics, or any other related field (retail management, business administration)
  • Previous experience in retail operations, supply chain or merchandise planning preferred
  • General understanding of store layouts
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Advanced technical skills - with MSOffice (esp. Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Data manipulation and analysis using SQL is not required, but an asset (SQL and/or Python)
  • Outstanding teammate with strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Detail oriented
