As an Associate Merchant, you’ll join Loblaw's Home & Entertainment category team, a group of elite merchandisers that build exciting programs for all of our banners across the country.

Reporting to our Category Director, you’ll work alongside the Merchants to support every aspect of category management including promotional planning, buying, merchandising, and much more.

What You'll Do:
  • Implement article setup for items by submitting DC listing requests and price setup
  • Input promotional plans into JDA system to drive our business, based on direction from Merchant
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure 100% data accuracy
  • Run ad-hoc and pre-existing reports weekly and provide analysis upon request
  • Run article integrity checks for costing, listing, or sourcing errors
  • Resolve all integrity errors and collaborate with appropriate teams to ensure timely completion
  • Implement and process deal sheets for over-and-above funds
  • Provide timely communication to stores and cross-functional teams
  • Dedication to promoting a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
  • Attentiveness to details, with a strong emphasis on precision and quality in completing tasks
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams
  • Financial, business and retail knowledge
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
