We are hiring for a Principal at Norman Carter Elementary School in Wilkie, SK. This is a Permanent Full-Time position commencing at the start of the 2026-2027 school year.

Candidates will be strong at building relationships with staff, students and their families and our community. Individuals will believe in the importance of having trauma-informed classrooms. Honouring Indigenous teachings and diversity to promote a culture of respect is important. Leadership experience around differentiation and interventions to meet the needs of each individual would be considered an asset. Living Sky School Division believes that school-based administrators play key roles in student success. It will be important for candidates to be able to:

  • Lead Learning (Instructional Leadership),
  • Set Vision and Provide Direction,
  • Secure Caring and Respectful Schools,
  • Develop People and Build Relationships,
  • Strengthen the Educational Community (through working with parents and other agencies), and
  • Embrace a culture of change improvement for leading edge results

Applicants are required to possess a Master’s Degree in Education or be committed to completing post-graduate studies in an applicable field. Additionally, they must be eligible for or possess a valid Saskatchewan Teaching Certificate.
