LifeLabs is hiring for a HomeCare Coordinator at our Mississauga, ON branch. Our Homecare Coordinators are responsible for creating and scheduling work orders daily for Mobile Laboratory Patient Technicians (MLPTs) demonstrating LifeLabs' Vision and Values in all Activities. Status: Full TimeShift: 6:00am - 2:00pm or 8:00am - 4:00pmAdditional Requirements: Hybrid role requirement (combination of in-office and remote work)Number of positions: 1Start Date: ASAP This vacancy is for an existing position.Key Responsibilities: Operational:  Schedule work orders for MLPTs and book according to area/prioritize work order for MLPTs for efficiency and route optimization. Coordinate and review MLPT routes. Develop and maintain effective communication with clients, team members and support staff including practicing effective listening skills. Ensure effective communication using various modes of communication-for example, with MLPTs on the road to add on visits, to communicate systems failure/halt in work to internal and external clients. Distribute written/verbal communications to MLPTs, as required. Ongoing communication with manager regarding difficulties/trends happening in the field. Receive inbound calls, answer patient or client questions, direct callers for out-of-scope work. Deal with customer service issues/problem solving. Reschedule patients for missed appointments. Update orders and communicate with Ontario Health at Home (LHIN clients) on a daily basis, working with in HPG system. Accurate data entry of all service requests into work orders. Prepare and process requisitions/reports.  Interpret lab requests for clients and professional services. Put together reports in standard order, working to a deadline.  Handle fax requests. Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance: Perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with relevant LifeLabs Policies and Procedures. Ensure compliance with external Regulatory Agencies and Licensing requirements. General: Communication skills. Computer skills - Word, Excel and internal computer systems. Excellent customer service skills. Effective time management skills.  Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent problem-solving skills.  Ability to multitask. Ability to work independently.
