We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly dexterous Brazing Production Worker to repair gas turbine components through precise braze application, tack welding, and meticulous part preparation.

Base wage: $22.50 / hour

Location: 400 Highway 6 N, Dundas, ON L9H 7K4

We have an opening on Day Shift. The hours will typically be Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to):

  • Application of braze putty and braze tape for the repair of gas turbine components
  • Part preparation before and after braze (LPM) application
  • Tack welding mesh and honeycombs to parts as required
  • Racking parts and operating drying ovens
  • Manufacturing braze (LPM) putty and maintaining stock
  • Support repair development by performing braze application tasks as directed by metallurgy department

Key Skill Requirements:

  • Attention to detail and capable of maintaining consistent quality standards
  • Excellent hand eye coordination
  • Must have good manual dexterity
  • Willingness and ability to work as part of a team
  • Handle multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously with minimal supervision
  • Ability to read and understand drawings, documented procedures and specifications
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in ever-changing environment with multiple priorities

Key Experience/Education:

  • Minimum high school diploma required
  • 1-3 years of production work experience preferably in the Aerospace or MRO industry preferred
  • Prior experience or knowledge with brazing materials is an asset, but individuals with transferable hands-on skills and a strong quality mindset are encouraged to apply
  • Experience with air tools is an asset
  • Basic computer operating knowledge – MS Office
