Role
The role of the supervisor is to ensure the smooth running of production operations.

Responsibilities

  • Work schedule: 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM (12-hour shift)
  • Supervise a group of approximately 15 production employees according to the company’s needs, in the most efficient way possible
  • Ensure that all operators and laborers work optimally in compliance with their training, procedures, regulations, and company policies
  • Know and comply with quality and food safety standards, occupational health and safety regulations, and company policies
  • Cover break replacements on the production line under your responsibility
  • Ensure that the necessary materials and resources are available to meet production goals
  • Meet deadlines while ensuring product quality
  • Inspect the workplace daily to ensure cleanliness and safety; apply corrective measures as needed and follow up
  • Document management and production activities (logs + performance indicators)
  • Propose ideas for continuous improvement processes
  • Welcome and onboard new staff
  • Ensure and coordinate training of production employees regarding their tasks, safety standards, and company policies
  • Evaluate staff based on attendance, work quality, attitude, and established standards and objectives
  • Develop individual development plans with employees to improve performance
  • Manage interpersonal and group conflicts in a healthy and effective manner
  • Intervene when an employee’s performance is unsatisfactory and apply disciplinary measures when necessary
  • Act as a technical resource for employees
  • Lead efficient team meetings
  • Motivate the team by recognizing good work and providing feedback
