Role and Responsibilities
The forklift operator is responsible for receiving, inspecting, moving, and shipping products.

• Know and always respect quality and food safety standards, workplace health and safety regulations, and company policies

• Inspect the forklift before use according to company standards

• Load, unload, and move products and/or materials using a forklift

• Ensure products and materials are in the right place at the right time

• Ensure products and materials that need to be moved are in good condition

Skills

• Experience operating a forklift (1-3 years), an asset

• Ability to perform physical work in difficult weather conditions

• Ability to work as part of a team

• Ability to manage priorities effectively

• Good computer skills

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for long periods

• Good manual dexterity

• Ability to adapt in a fast‑paced environment

• Ability to handle heavy loads
