Nova Steel Products is involved in the processing and assembly of steel products, including fasteners for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the construction equipment industry, as well as structural products for the building construction industry. Our team manufactures all of our products according to the specifications and tolerances of our OEM customers, while continually challenging ourselves to improve.
We are looking for a motivated
QHSE Manager to oversee our integrated QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) system. You will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, monitoring non-compliance, conducting audits, and continuously improving our processes.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain and update the QHSE documentation system (creation, revision, training, display).
- Monitor and analyze internal, customer, and supplier non-compliance issues, and oversee corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare and support internal and external audits, and monitor action plans.
- Ensure regulatory compliance in terms of health, safety, and the environment.
- Oversee prevention programs, emergency management, and improvements to working conditions.
- Manage measuring equipment: calibration, validation, replacement, and monitoring.
- Lead QHSE meetings and communicate results to management.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and monitor performance indicators for continuous improvement.
Required profile:
- Degree in QHSE, Quality, Environment, OHS, or related field.
- Experience in ISO systems (9001, 14001) and integrated QHSE management.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and meeting facilitation skills.
- Ability to analyze, prioritize, and manage projects with multiple teams and departments.
- Proficiency in various systems and software (ERP, CAD, Microsoft Office).
- Advanced knowledge of French and English, spoken and written.
