Lakeland Catholic School Division Invites applications for a Principal of Light of Christ Catholic School Lac La Biche, Alberta Lakeland Catholic School Division is calling forth a dynamic, collaborative, and visionary educational leader to join our school-based administrative team for the period of August 19, 2024 to June 27, 2025, with the opportunity for a continuous contract extension thereafter. Nestled in the scenic beauty of northeast Alberta, Light of Christ Catholic school proudly serves approximately 230 students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. The successful candidate will be expected to: � Create an environment wherein a faith community is fostered as an integral component of the school. � Demonstrate active participation in parish life and the ministry of the church � Nurture a collaborative approach in working together with staff, students, the school council, and the overall community. � Provide and implement a strong vision for achieving academic success for every student. � Demonstrate positive interpersonal skills conducive to enhancing trust and the creation of a sense of family within the staff, the school, and the community. � Facilitate inclusive educational practices to maximize educational opportunities for all students. � Be determined, take charge, and make things happen in a service-oriented environment. � Demonstrate proficiency in The Marks of an Excellent Catholic Leader. � Demonstrate proficiency in The Leadership Quality Standards. � Completion, or in the process of completion, of a Master of Education Degree.
