Casual Non-Certified Classroom Supervisor
Location: Schools within Lakeland Catholic School Division
Position Type: Casual (on-call)
Lakeland Catholic School Division is currently accepting applications for Casual Non-Certified Classroom Supervisors. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with children and are seeking flexible, on-call work in a supportive school environment.
Classroom supervisors help maintain continuity of learning when a teacher is absent and a certified substitute is unavailable. Under the direction of school administration, supervisors are responsible for managing the classroom, fostering a positive and respectful environment, and following the day plan provided by the absent teacher.
Qualifications and Qualities:
- Minimum 18 years of age
- High school diploma
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- A calm, confident presence in the classroom
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience working with children or youth is an asset, but not required
- A respectful approach to the Catholic values and faith-based environment of our schools
We are currently hiring in Lac La Biche, Waskatenau, Cold Lake, and Bonnyville. Applicants can indicate which communities or specific schools they are available to work in-there is no requirement to be available in all areas. This is a rewarding role for individuals who are dependable, adaptable, and eager to contribute to the school community.
