Position: Machine / Mill operator

• Entry level position
• Night Shift 11:30 pm - 7:30 am
• Markham Area

The Company

Our client is a top leader with many years’ of experience in manufacturing of custom tubing components.

Position Summary

• You will need to ensure proper set-up and changeovers have been maintained for the Mill, in order to process the size of the parts as required
• You will need to check that quality meets all product expectations according to specific work orders
• Maintain the Mill as needed with minor adjustments, tooling changes etc..
• Complete production logs and reports as required
• Monitor by regular and routine inspections

Skills and Knowledge

• Demonstrates mechanical aptitude
• Good communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Demonstrates the ability to troubleshoot on the Mill by being aware of deficiencies
• Ability to work with measuring devices such as micrometers or calipers
• Heavy lifting up to 50lbs

Working Environment

• Manufacturing environment
• Hot, noisy environment
• Steel toed safety shoes, and all personal protective equipment
