Description

You will join a growing Canadian Immigration practice where your expertise in permanent residency pathways plays a central role in supporting complex client matters. You work closely with senior lawyers and colleagues to manage files from intake through landing, contributing to high-quality outcomes and a strong client experience.
What you will do
- Manage Express Entry applications across Federal Skilled Worker, Canadian Experience Class, and Federal Skilled Trades streams
- Prepare, review, and submit permanent residence applications through IRCC portals with a focus on accuracy and compliance
- Monitor CRS draws and advise on eligibility, profile positioning, and pathway strategy
- Coordinate Provincial Nominee Program applications across multiple provinces and streams
- Track policy changes, draw cycles, and program requirements affecting permanent residency pathways
- Support dual-intent cases involving Express Entry and PNP strategies
- Assist lawyers with immigration litigation matters, including IRB and Federal Court files
- Share knowledge and provide guidance to junior clerks and assistants
What you bring to the role
- Three to five years of hands-on experience in Canadian permanent residency matters
- Demonstrated expertise managing Express Entry files from profile creation through submission
- Practical experience with Provincial Nominee Programs across multiple provinces
- Experience supporting immigration litigation or tribunal-related matters
- Post-secondary education in paralegal studies, immigration law, or a related field
- Proficiency with immigration case management systems such as INS Zoom
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills in English
KPMG Ontario Region Pay Range Information
The expected base salary range for this position is $62,750.00 to $89,000.00 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
