This role combines strategic advisory, ERP system selection, business transformation, implementation advisory, client relationship management, and business development.

This role requires an experienced consulting leader with deep ERP advisory expertise, strong commercial acumen, and exceptional relationship management skills. The successful candidate will build trusted advisor relationships with executives, business owners, and senior stakeholders while identifying opportunities to expand client engagements, support internal business development efforts, and contribute to the continued growth of the ERP Advisory practice.

What you will do

  • Lead ERP strategy, readiness, system selection, and finance transformation engagements for private enterprise, mid-market, and public sector clients.
  • Assess current-state operations and design future-state processes, Target Operating Models, transformation roadmaps, governance structures, and implementation readiness plans.
  • Lead ERP vendor evaluations, including market scans, RFIs/RFPs, demonstrations, proofs of concept, scoring, executive recommendations, and implementation planning.
  • Advise executives throughout ERP implementations on governance, scope, organizational readiness, risks, stakeholder alignment, benefits realization, and program assurance.
  • Provide finance transformation advice across operating models, Chart of Accounts, FP&A, reporting, month-end close, internal controls, governance, master data, and data migration.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams and manage engagement scope, quality, risks, timelines, budgets, commercial pricing, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Build trusted client relationships, identify expansion opportunities, and lead proposals, RFP responses, Statements of Work, estimates, and executive presentations.
  • Leverage AI and intelligent automation to improve consulting delivery and client transformation outcomes.
  • Coach and mentor team members and contribute to recruitment, capability development, methodologies, and practice growth.

What you bring to the role

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 10 to 15+ years of consulting and business transformation experience, including experience at a leading consulting or professional services firm.
  • Extensive experience leading ERP advisory, strategy, readiness, system selection, implementation advisory, and business transformation engagements from strategy through execution.
  • Strong knowledge of major ERP platforms across various tiers, including SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Fusion, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Workday, NetSuite, and Sage Intacct.
  • Deep understanding of finance transformation, process design, Target Operating Models, governance, organizational readiness, controls, reporting, data, integration, cloud, and AI-enabled transformation.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex stakeholder environments involving executives, business leaders, System Integrators, vendors, and technical teams.
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and business development experience across proposals, RFPs, Statements of Work, pricing, estimation, pursuits, and account growth.
  • Executive presence with strong facilitation, communication, negotiation, presentation, problem-solving, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into ERP-enabled solutions without requiring hands-on configuration, software development, or coding expertise.
  • Experience advising private enterprises, owner-operated and family-owned organizations, mid-market companies, and public sector or non-profit organizations.
