As part of the National Marketing team, this Marketing Specialist role will support both the Audit & Assurance and Private Enterprise portfolios, focusing primarily on the Ontario & Atlantic (O&A) region. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong, tactical, self-starter who is interested in further developing their strategic marketing skillset.

The role will operate as part of our hybrid working environment based in our downtown Toronto office.


What you will do

Ultimately reporting under the National Marketing Director for Audit & Assurance and Private Enterprise, the incumbent will support local practice leaders, and national and regional Clients & Markets teams, in the development and execution of integrated marketing programs designed to meet the strategic objectives of the business.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the National Audit & Assurance and Private Enterprise Marketing teams to execute the Ontario & Atlantic marketing plans for the purposes of brand building, relationship development and demand / lead generation
  • Develop relationships with Audit & Assurance and Private Enterprise practice leaders to support business priorities throughout the fiscal year
  • Support the development of integrated content marketing campaigns, sales enablement collateral, and events and sponsorships
  • Collaborate with in-house agency teams, media / PR teams, regional marketing teams and account development teams to execute marketing initiatives
  • Help manage KPMG's relationship with pertinent external industry and community associations and organizations
  • Participate in initiatives to help advance collaboration across functions, industries, and regions to share and leverage best practices and enhance overall marketing efficiencies

What you bring to the role

  • 2 to 3 years’ experience in B2B marketing in a national or global organization
  • Diploma or undergraduate degree, preferably in marketing, business and/or communications
  • Innovative / Growth mindset
  • Strong digital marketing and social media expertise demonstrated in a professional environment
  • Superior project management skills—must be able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Experience with virtual/in-person events an asset
  • Some experience with AI tools an asset
  • Must be a highly detail-oriented, organized, self-starter who is eager to develop professionally
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative thinker with a passion marketing and branding
  • Must be a team player and an active participant and contributor to marketing meetings
  • Ability to work independently to meet deadlines
  • Has the confidence to provide information, support and recommendations to senior marketing leads
  • Curious and motivated to continuously learn
  • Excellent collaboration, teamwork and interpersonal skills.

 

KPMG Ontario Region Pay Range Information

The expected base salary range for this position is $55,000 to $82,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
